Kilnconquhar is a beautiful highly sought after East Neuk village with some particularly fine architecture and which benefits from a church, country club, local gastro pub, nature reserve and bus service. Kilconquhar is situated just a short drive from the acclaimed East Neuk villages of Elie and Earlsferry, which benefit from a cosmopolitan and highly eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, pubs and other services.

The golden sandy beach at Elie is particularly fine, whilst the famous golf links enjoys a reputation as one of Fife’s best courses. Elie also has a sports centre with a 9 hole golf course, tennis court and a driving range. St Andrews, the ancient and historic university town, known world wide as the home of golf, is about 11 miles to the north east of Kilconquhar. The 150th British Open takes place in St Andrews in 2022.

Part of this area of Fife’s attraction as a holiday destination is its excellent accessibility, which provides rapid access from the Scottish Central Belt both east and west. Edinburgh Airport is less than an hour away by road and there are several main line railway stations dotted throughout Fife including Inverkeithing, Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Cupar and Leuchars.

The outstanding southerly views out to the rear, over the garden to the loch, are a particular feature of the house.
